General information

  • Seraph Brass Seminar welcomes applications from student and professional brass musicians of all races, religions, genders, sexual orientations, and nationalities (must be at least 18 years old)
  • Tuition cost is $1,100. If registering as a pre-formed chamber group, each individual will receive a $100 discount towards their tuition. Lodging is not included, please see the housing tab for more information.
  • Participants can either register as individuals and will be placed in a chamber group, or can register as a pre-formed group. Only open to brass instruments: trumpet, trombone, bass trombone, euphonium, horn & tuba.

Early application deadline is March 15th. The final application deadline is April 15th.

Seraph Brass Seminar participants will receive:

  • Individual instruction: masterclasses
  • Group Instruction: Chamber coachings, side-by-side playing with faculty, career seminars
  • Access to multiple Seraph Brass performances

Option to audit the festival for $50/day or $250/week to attend masterclasses and recitals.

Auditors that are not yet 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Both individuals should fill out the registration form but only one audit registration fee needs to be paid.

Application Fees

  • $35: apply by March 15 or earlier
  • $60: apply by before April 15 or later
  • Admission decisions will be released by May 1st
  • Deadline to pay deposit: May 15th

Pre-formed ensembles:

One member of your ensemble will serve as a primary contact for your ensemble’s application, and only needs to pay one application fee. Decide who this person will be before starting the application.
