Hannah Hunter is a tubist and educator from New Braunfels, Texas, recognized for her dynamic
performance style and commitment to advancing the role of low brass in diverse musical
settings. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Music in Tuba Performance with a minor in
Composition at Texas State University, where she studies under Professor Raúl Rodriguez.
She maintains an active performance schedule in orchestral, chamber, brass ensemble, and
soloist settings. In June 2026, she will perform with the Victoria Bach Festival. Through her
performance work, she is committed to supporting and uplifting women in brass through
collaboration and representation.
Alongside her performing career, Hannah is a dedicated educator who maintains a private
studio of middle and high school students. She has been accepted for graduate study at the
Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin, where she will continue developing her artistry and
expanding her impact as both a performer and teacher.
